I'll admit, I'm going to miss Tebow

as a Vol fan, it would be hard to say but the guy is such a stand up, character guy and is so fun to watch play, I'm going to miss his play on Saturdays. one top class guy. some may hate him because of the media coverage of him but the man has accounted for himself very well.

I will miss him, but i definitely wont miss espn riding his nuts all year. he is one of the classiest players to come through in a long time. its hard to pull against him, even if he is a gator
Cant we all just get along?

The young man gives it all he's got on every play, and thanks God after every ballgame. I have to like someone like that (even if he is a Gator).

I'm just not impressed with Tim Tebow. There are alot of other good character athletes that you never hear about. To me he is just an average D-1 Quarterback with a good press agent...

Re: I'll admit, I'm going to miss Tebow

I'll disagree with that. From most of the things you find out, Tebow doesn't push the issues or all the things he does positive.

There are so few good role models, I hope that he's legit and doesn't get caught in some weird dwarf sex club or something.

Being that I hate Florida, I give him a lot of respect. He at least appears to be a class young adult and with all that is given to him, to have some bit of decency is a miracle.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.

The same can be said about Colt McCoy as well as Mardy Gilyard from Cincy. As many thugs as we have out there,it is a breath of fresh air to see young men with sound character like these 3 out there.

Re: I'll admit, I'm going to miss Tebow

Tebow might be an average D1 QB, but he is a GREAT football player. If he hasnt impressed you, then you are either full of stone, or something else that starts with an S.

If UF wins the national title, Tebow will go down as the greatest college football player ever.

He wont be an NFL QB, but he was one helluva SEC QB, Im far from a UF fan but I respect Tebow.

    And if someone doesn't recognize Tebow's greatness, they are either;

    A: Ignorant
    B: a full-time HATER

To run that offense as well, to do as much as he does, he deserves the praise he gets.

Just my opinion, the young man may indeed be of great character, but I do not see him as a great quarterback. I will judge his "success" on his ability to reach the pinnacle of his profession. I believe Mr. Tebow has gone about as far as he can.

Re: I'll admit, I'm going to miss Tebow

You cannot define Tebow by his NFL success, that is severely understating his college accomplishments.
His style isnt NFL ready, but its perfect for college football.

NFL success has absolutely no bearing on how good a football player was in college.

He may never be a successful NFL QB, but its laughable to suggest he was nothing less than a spectacular football player at Florida
